the crush collection: a complete clean skincare ritual in four steps

i did not build the crush collection to compete with what is already on the shelf. i built it because what is on the shelf was not good enough.
most skincare routines are assembled from products that were never designed to work together. a cleanser from one brand, a serum from another, a moisturizer from a third. different ingredient philosophies, different formulation standards, different ideas about what your skin actually needs. you end up layering products that may contradict each other, and then you wonder why your skin is not responding the way the packaging promised.
the crush collection is different. it is four products, formulated together, designed to work as a single ritual. each step prepares the skin for the next. each product amplifies what came before it. nothing is redundant. nothing is filler. every ingredient across all four products was chosen with the full ritual in mind.
the name "crush" comes from my love for essential oils and botanicals. but it also describes what happens when people start using it. they develop their own crush on it. they tell their friends. they come back. and then they tell more friends.
100% five-star reviews. every single one.
step one: oil crush cleansing oil
this is where the ritual begins. and it begins with a truth most people do not expect: oil is the best thing you can wash your face with.
oil dissolves oil. the sebum, the makeup, the sunscreen, the environmental buildup sitting on your skin throughout the day. all of it is oil-based. a water-based cleanser cannot fully dissolve it. an oil-based cleanser can. that is not a marketing claim. that is chemistry.
oil crush cleansing oil is built on a foundation of sunflower, jojoba, olive, and castor oils. each one is non-comedogenic, meaning it cleans deeply without clogging pores. pomegranate seed oil adds antioxidant protection. lavender, geranium, and manuka essential oils calm the skin while the cleansing is happening.
this is my longest-standing formulation. it is the product that started everything.
how to use it. apply a small amount to dry skin. massage gently with your fingertips in slow, circular motions. place a warm, damp cloth over your face and hold for one to two minutes. the warmth opens the pores and lets the oil draw out impurities. gently wipe away and pat dry.
your skin should never feel tight after cleansing. if it does, your cleanser is stripping away the very things your skin needs. oil crush leaves the skin soft, nourished, and balanced. clean without being stripped. that is how cleansing should feel.
you can use it as a single cleansing step or as the first step in a double cleanse method. either way, it sets the foundation for everything that follows.
step two: skin boost
this is the step most skincare routines skip. and it is the step that makes everything else work better.
skin boost is a hydrating serum built around three powerhouse ingredients: copper peptides, carrot seed oil, and hyaluronic acid.
hyaluronic acid holds up to one thousand times its weight in water. when applied to freshly cleansed skin, it floods the cells with hydration and creates a moisture reservoir that lasts throughout the night. your skin is plumper, smoother, and more receptive to the products that follow.
copper peptides support collagen and elastin production. as we age, the body produces less of both. copper peptides signal the skin to rebuild, which helps smooth fine lines, even skin tone, and improve overall texture over time.
carrot seed oil is rich in beta carotene and antioxidants. it supports skin cell turnover and helps reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation. it is one of the most underappreciated ingredients in clean skincare, and it is in this formula for a reason.
how to use it. after cleansing, apply a few drops to damp skin. press gently into the face and neck. let it absorb for a moment before moving to step three. the key is applying to damp skin. hyaluronic acid needs moisture to work with. if you apply it to dry skin, it pulls moisture from deeper layers instead of holding it at the surface.
step three: oil crush facial serum
this is my favorite product in the entire mac + mitchell line. it was one of my original formulations, and it is the one i am most proud of.
oil crush facial serum contains over twenty organic botanical oils. that is not an exaggeration. every oil in this formula was selected for a specific function, and together they address a wide range of skin concerns in a single product.
sea buckthorn supports collagen production and gives the skin a natural vitality. bakuchiol promotes cell turnover without the irritation that retinol causes. frankincense supports skin cell regeneration and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. helichrysum is one of the most prized essential oils in skincare for its ability to support skin repair and reduce discoloration. rosehip, blueberry seed, and red raspberry seed oils deliver antioxidant protection and essential fatty acids.
argan, jojoba, squalane, olive, camellia, rice bran, pomegranate seed, meadowfoam, pumpkin seed, carrot seed, and buriti round out the formula. each one serves a purpose. nothing is there for show.
how to use it. two pumps. massage into the face and neck using gentle upward strokes. this is the moment in the ritual where you slow down. the serum absorbs quickly, but the act of massaging it in is part of how it works. you are stimulating circulation, encouraging lymphatic movement, and giving the botanicals time to absorb fully.
step four: hydration luxe creme
this is the seal. everything you have done in the first three steps is locked in here.
hydration luxe creme is a lightweight cream that delivers deep moisture without heaviness. it is built around argan oil, squalane, shea butter, and avocado oil. all of them are rich, nourishing, and biocompatible with human skin.
comfrey leaf extract supports skin repair. green tea and white tea extracts provide antioxidant protection. aloe vera soothes and hydrates. panthenol (vitamin b5) strengthens the skin barrier and helps the skin retain moisture long after application.
this cream was designed to work on every skin type. oily, dry, combination, sensitive, mature. it absorbs fully, leaves no greasy residue, and preps the skin beautifully for makeup in the morning or for overnight repair in the evening.
how to use it. apply a small amount to the face and neck after the serum has absorbed. press gently into the skin. in the morning, give it a minute to fully absorb before applying makeup. at night, let it work while you sleep.
why the ritual matters
i could sell you four individual products and call it a collection. plenty of brands do that. but the crush collection was not designed that way.
each product was formulated knowing what comes before it and what comes after it. the cleansing oil prepares the skin to receive the skin boost. the skin boost floods the cells with hydration so the serum can absorb more effectively. the serum delivers the active botanicals into skin that is already hydrated and open. the creme seals everything in and protects the barrier overnight.
remove one step and the others still work. but together, the four products create a compounding effect that no single product can replicate on its own.
this is why it is a ritual, not a routine. a routine is a checklist. a ritual is intentional. it is the moment in your day where you stop, slow down, and do something that is entirely for yourself.
who the crush collection is for
the crush collection works for every skin type. but the women who tend to love it most are those dealing with the specific concerns that come with skin in its thirties, forties, and fifties: fine lines, uneven texture, dryness, dullness, loss of firmness, hyperpigmentation, and the general sense that their skin is not responding to products the way it used to.
if you have tried conventional skincare and been disappointed by the results, the issue may not be your skin. it may be what you have been putting on it. synthetic fragrances, parabens, hormone disruptors, and cheap fillers can create the very problems they claim to solve.
every ingredient in the crush collection is toxin-free, ethically sourced, and organic when possible. no synthetic fragrances. no parabens. no formaldehyde. no fillers. nothing that would compromise the integrity of the formula or the health of your skin.
what customers are saying
one customer who struggled with acne throughout her teenage years and into adulthood started using the crush collection and saw her skin completely change. no more breakouts. corrected acne scars. she is fully committed now.
another customer visited her dermatologist while using the crush collection. her dermatologist asked what she was using because her skin looked fabulous.
these are not outliers. this is what happens when you give your skin real ingredients formulated with real intention.
